Associate Director of Revenue Management

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for an Associate Director of Revenue Management in Madrid. The role delivers all aspects of revenue management for a designated cluster of key hotels, covering pricing, yielding and total revenue optimisation, so as to meet the budgeted revenue targets. It works closely with the Hotel Team and key Commercial and Marketing stakeholders to grow total profitable revenue and market share, and assists the Area Director of Revenue Management.

Key responsibilities

• Understand market dynamics and monitor competitor pricing to grow revenue and RevPAR for the assigned portfolio (20%).
• Deliver effective pricing and ensure optimal inventory for all revenue streams and market segments (20%).
• Generate revenue forecasts and budgets and ensure their accuracy for all hotels in the area of responsibility (20%).
• Extract data from relevant systems to solve problems and analyse performance (10%).
• Lead the implementation of new projects, systems and tools that maximise revenue (10%).
• Build strong business relationships across departments and align the team with company direction (10%).
• Directly manage a small team of Associate Cluster Revenue Managers and/or lead key revenue projects (10%).

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance or Statistics.
• 5 years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing and/or Distribution; previous management experience is a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; other languages are a plus.
• Valid work permit for the EU.
• Strong emotional intelligence, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to build trust with key stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Revenue Management Systems (e.g. IDeaS G3 or Duetto GC).
• Hotel Reservation Systems (PMS/S&C) and Distribution Systems (Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, OTA extranets).
• Desirable: experience with Hotel Reservation Systems, Revenue Management Systems and/or Distribution / Channel Management Systems.
