Associate HR Business Partner (French Speaking)

About the role

CloudPay is looking for an Associate HR Business Partner to support its workforce across France, Italy and Spain. Reporting to the HR Manager Southern Europe, you will be the go‑to HR contact for employees and managers, helping to deliver a seamless employee experience while contributing to regional HR projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees and managers in France, Italy and Spain, ensuring consistent service quality.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for HR queries, offering practical guidance and building strong regional relationships.
• Support the full employee lifecycle – pre‑boarding, onboarding, and off‑boarding – to guarantee smooth transitions.
• Assist with employee‑relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant, and consistent handling of cases.
• Collaborate with the Works Council in France, supporting negotiations and compliance with local labour requirements.
• Monitor and apply French, Italian and Spanish employment legislation, staying up‑to‑date on regulatory changes.
• Contribute to HR data collection, reporting and insights to aid decision‑making.
• Own and deliver regional HR projects such as service awards, new‑hire initiatives, engagement activities and updated HR materials.

Required profile

• HR professional with a proactive, curious attitude and a desire to grow within a fast‑paced, global team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to build trust across multiple countries.
• Experience handling employee‑relations issues and familiarity with labour legislation in France, Italy or Spain.
• Ability to manage projects and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in French (additional language skills a plus) and proficient in English.
