Automation Engineer - Workflow & Process Automation

About the role

It is hiring an Automation Engineer to design, build and optimise scalable workflows that improve business efficiency and remove repetitive tasks. The role suits people who enjoy process improvement, systems integration and building automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated workflows across internal and client-facing systems.
• Integrate platforms and tools using APIs, webhooks and automation frameworks.
• Create scalable solutions that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and optimise workflow logic with tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, support and product teams on workflow requirements.
• Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues and document systems and workflows.
• Support data synchronisation and process automation across CRMs, communication tools and business applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in workflow automation, systems integration or automation engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex workflows and identify process improvements.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and business productivity tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills; able to work independently remotely.
• Experience with AI tools, automation agents or no-code/low-code systems is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON and third-party integrations.
• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Workato or similar.
• Basic scripting (JavaScript, Python or similar) is a strong advantage.
