Avaloq Consultant (IT Banking) - Madrid

About the role

Forty2, a consulting company with over a decade of experience in Financial Services, is hiring an Avaloq Consultant for a full-time hybrid position in Madrid, with the option of remote work. The role covers the implementation and support of the Avaloq banking system for banking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for banking clients
• Configure the Avaloq banking system to meet those requirements
• Train and support users during the implementation process
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Avaloq system

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken; French, German or Italian is a strong advantage
• Only candidates residing in Spain or EU citizens willing to relocate to Spain will be considered

Required skills

• Proven experience as a PL/SQL developer is a plus
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, able to resolve complex issues in large systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
