NOC Infrastructure Administrator (Linux, Windows, Cloud)

About the role

Miratech, a global IT services and consulting company, is looking for an experienced NOC Infrastructure Administrator to join its team remotely. The role covers monitoring, administration and operational support of Linux, Windows and cloud-based infrastructure in a 24/7 production environment, with a rotating shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for a 24/7 NOC environment supporting Linux and Windows systems
• Operate, maintain and manage Linux and Windows systems supporting production operations
• Perform data backup and recovery activities
• Monitor, manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers and applications
• Create and maintain environment-specific operating procedures and documentation
• Create, manage and maintain user accounts and group memberships in Active Directory
• Define, prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve support requests efficiently
• Administer and monitor cloud-based infrastructure and managed services
• Develop and use automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python or similar
• Assist with patch management in Linux and Windows environments
• Lead shift operations when required

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Linux and Windows system administration
• Experience supporting production infrastructure in a 24/7 environment
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
• Experience with system and application monitoring in production environments
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and database troubleshooting
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Nagios, Datadog, Jira, Salesforce or similar
• Ability to work day, evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts on a rotating schedule

• Networking concepts: DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IP networking and network troubleshooting
• Microsoft infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Windows Security
• Cloud platforms and virtualization: AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python
• Web server administration and configuration
