About the role
Join the culinary team at Barceló Playa Blanca as a Kitchen Assistant. You will support daily kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and efficient environment for food preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
- Clean, peel, and cut vegetables.
- Mix ingredients for various dishes.
- Pluck poultry and prepare meat.
- Scale and clean fish.
- Keep kitchen tools and utensils spotless.
- Assist in preserving raw materials and kitchen products.
Required profile
- Medium‑level vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio).
- Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
- No language requirement.
- Hospitality knowledge is a plus.
Required skills
- HACCP food‑safety knowledge.
