Ayudante de Recepción

About the role

The Reception Assistant supports the front‑desk team at Barceló Benidorm Beach, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and delivering high‑quality service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process all documentation required for guest check‑in and check‑out.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the reception area, furniture and equipment.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and manage external communications.
• Perform currency exchange services for guests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and dining areas to fulfil guest requests.
• Provide information to guests and handle any complaints or issues promptly.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio).
• At least one year of experience in a similar front‑desk or reception role.
• High proficiency in English; additional language is a plus.
• Ability to adapt, work in a team, and maintain a strong customer focus.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
• Familiarity with reservation management systems.
