Billing Agent - APM Spain Railways

About the role

APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, is looking for a Billing Agent for Spain to join its team in Barcelona. You will manage the customer experience by handling billing for end-to-end inland services, in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Invoice customers for services provided.
• Handle customer billing issues and resolve them quickly, involving internal or external stakeholders.
• Provide effective solutions with a strong understanding of business and processes.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach, avoiding errors and preventing their recurrence.
• Prepare and submit all documentation on time and accurately.
• Follow processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Take part in regular conference calls with clients and vendors to keep processes running smoothly.
• Work with commercial and operational teams to build and strengthen customer relationships.
• Carry out reports or other tasks assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of customer billing.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence with stakeholders.
