Financial Controller (Sevilla)

About the role

An international organization is looking for a Financial Controller / Finance Business Partner to support a dedicated business area in Sevilla. The role partners with the business, supports budgeting and forecasting, performs financial and profitability analysis and provides insights for decision-making, working closely with cross-functional teams and monitoring financial performance and risks.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Conduct variance analysis (actuals versus budget/forecast).
• Analyze profitability by business dimension.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure financial processes comply with internal policies.
• Enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance or controlling, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong business understanding, curiosity, creativity, team spirit and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a standalone role, with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of planning, budgeting and cost control principles; IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of CCH Tagetik is a strong advantage.
• Ability to turn financial data into clear business insights and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
