Branch Operations Analyst - Bank Guarantees / Avales

About the role

Deutsche Bank is looking for a Branch Operations Analyst to join its Madrid team and manage the end-to-end Bank Guarantees (Avales) lifecycle, covering issuance, amendments, commissions, cancellation and documentation. The role keeps operations efficient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile guarantee-related commissions, ensuring timely booking and controls.
• Serve internal stakeholders with guarantee-related queries and operational support.
• Maintain data quality and contribute to continuous improvement of operating procedures.

Required profile

• 1 year of experience in financial institutions performing accounting tasks.
• Experience in bank guarantees or trade finance departments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Advanced English communication skills (essential).
• Ability to use AI tools productively while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Required skills

• Accounting knowledge; applied to guarantees and commissions booking is a plus.
• Advanced Excel user.
• Familiarity with Access, IA or programming tools is a plus.
