Brand & PR Manager

About the role

The Hoxton Poblenou is looking for an experienced Brand & PR Manager to shape the hotel’s identity, drive local engagement, and position the property as a cultural hotspot in Barcelona. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead communications, partnership strategy, and community building across the hotel, its restaurants, bars, and event spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the hotel, Four Corners, Tope, and event spaces to locals, national and international audiences.
• Develop innovative brand initiatives that support business goals and create a vibrant lobby culture.
• Generate and manage content for restaurant social‑media channels, collaborating with the central communications team and external agencies.
• Design and execute programming for the La Cava space, securing strong local or global partnerships.
• Own the local PR strategy, working with the Head of Communications to keep the hotel top‑of‑mind for media, influencers, and the Spanish market.
• Build and nurture a community of Hox Friends, influencers, and local opinion leaders.
• Create local communications, including email newsletters and editorial content for The Localist platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand and public‑relations management, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong ability to build relationships with media, influencers, and community partners.
• Creative, proactive mindset with a constant eye for opportunities and issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
