Business Analyst – French speaking

About the role

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a French‑speaking Business Analyst to join its Barcelona office. Reporting to the Head of Underwriting Operational Support, you will act as a bridge between underwriting teams and back‑office functions such as IT, Operations and Compliance, ensuring that systems and processes support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support operational planning and execution for underwriting activities.
• Collaborate with underwriting stakeholders to align with the Target Operating Model and identify bottlenecks.
• Analyse, validate and enhance information systems, particularly the Policy Administration System (PAS), across European entities.
• Manage and prioritize Genius tickets, draft user stories and functional requirements, and participate in Agile sprints.
• Provide accurate data to transversal teams including Catastrophe Exposure and Reinsurance.
• Assess the impact of business and system changes and communicate findings to relevant parties.

Required profile

• Fluent French with strong English communication skills.
• Experience in business analysis within insurance, preferably in Property, Casualty or Marine lines.
• Understanding of underwriting processes and operational risk management.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
