Business & Data Manager – Technology Operating Office

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a highly motivated Business Manager to drive operational and financial governance and project management office topics for the Group's Technology area. The role sits in the Technology Operating Office, within the COO Chief of Staff unit, which supports the COO senior management on Run-the-Bank and Change-the-Bank objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly closing and reporting processes for the Group's Technology area
• Develop, maintain and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis and reporting
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server databases to support business and financial processes
• Analyse and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Support the design, maintenance and documentation of relational data models
• Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and implementing improvements
• Contribute to ongoing digitalization and data-driven initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Finance or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience in a larger corporate environment, ideally in Technology, Finance or both
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team
• Very good communication skills in English

Required skills

• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling
• Experience with reporting or data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or SAP S4/HANA is an advantage
• Programming skills in languages such as C# are an advantage
