Business Planner & Automation Lead – Additive Manufacturing

About the role

HP 3D Printing is looking for a Business Planner & Automation Specialist to join the Strategic & Spend Planning team within the HP Additive Manufacturing Central Office & Transformation team. The role combines strategic business and financial planning, project management and automation development for HP AM central processes, and is designed as a high-exposure development position working closely with Finance, business managers and executive leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual and long-term planning, including budget coordination and monthly spend planning with senior leaders.
• Develop executive-ready materials, reporting packs, dashboards and decision-support content for business reviews and governance forums.
• Track execution of cross-functional initiatives, coordinate stakeholders and remove blockers.
• Identify risks and opportunities and support mitigation plans.
• Lead the team's automation roadmap, including Power BI dashboards, Excel/Power Query solutions, AI-enabled tools, data quality and process automation.
• Improve planning and reporting through standardization, cleaner operating mechanisms and better data structure.
• Perform business analysis, scenario modelling and ad hoc deep dives to support investment decisions and business cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, financial planning, project management, consulting, supply chain or business analytics.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, KPIs and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valued: Power BI, Power Query, automation tools and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Valued certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst or Power Platform.
