About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team at Barceló Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cleaning materials, equipment and supplies needed for daily tasks.
- Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture, fixtures and minibar items.
- Make beds, ventilate rooms, replenish linens, toiletries and minibar supplies.
- Report any damages or maintenance issues found during cleaning.
- Assist guests during their stay, handle lost‑and‑found items and respond to reasonable requests.
- Collect used linens and send them to the laundry, restock supplies as required.
Required profile
- Basic secondary education (ESO) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar housekeeping position is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
- Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
