Category Manager - Hybrid Cloud Solutions (Spanish Speaker)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a LASER Hybrid Cloud Solutions Category Manager who speaks Spanish and English (advanced to bilingual). The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation of working primarily from an HPE office. It covers end-to-end management of a product category across its lifecycle, ensuring improved service-to-segment mapping on revenue, gross margin and service offering, and executing the category strategy (product offering, positioning, placement and pricing) in the LASER countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage NPI/NSI in LASER and ensure sales readiness in the geography
• Implement business development initiatives and lead local key business initiatives to drive order and revenue growth
• Drive segment and heat mapping, and evangelize the offer within sales teams and at customer/partner events
• Perform lifecycle management, cross-sales motions and cross-RTM SPOC for LASER sellers, and collect customer/partner feedback
• Take E2E responsibility for one category (e.g. HPE GreenLake), acting as the expert for the offer from creation to order booking
• Act as SPOC for local sales: identify target customers, run the global launch and action plans, and build yearly and quarterly growth plans
• Develop and run initiatives such as promotions, bundles and account identification, test new approaches locally, and support deal shaping
• Drive funnel growth, train sales on how to sell against competitors, and execute the sales enablement plan with localized materials
• Provide training to the local sales team, approve contractual discounts and central procurement requests, and support pilots for new offers

Required profile

• Spanish and English (advanced to bilingual)
• Typically 12+ years to demonstrate mastery of Service Business Management
• Advanced experience in delivery, solution architecting or business planning before a business management role
