SMB & Commercial Digital Sales Representative - Spain

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an SMB & Commercial Digital Sales Representative for Spain, based in Las Rozas. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. It covers managing assigned accounts, building and forecasting the sales pipeline, and working with outside sales, channel partners and end customers to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Sell complex solutions, products and services for a set of assigned accounts, and give input on sales strategy and quota forecasts.
• Create an account plan and recommend actions for each complex account.
• Generate, qualify and review new leads, and work with partners or field sales to ensure a smooth transaction.
• Understand client needs and use knowledge of the product portfolio to drive new acquisitions and retention.
• Lead targeted pipeline building, forecast and plan data-driven sales activity.
• Provide coaching to team members, depending on the role.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field (IT or sales preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Industry experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, and to handle complex business issues.

Required skills

• Demonstrated sales orientation, account management, acquisition, retention and development skills.
• Knowledge of the company's product and service portfolios and of IT and industry solutions.
• Communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of a CRM system or Salesforce.
• The role may call for a hunter approach or a strategic farmer/relationship-selling approach.
