Cell Therapy Coordinator (CAR-T, MM)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson's Medical Affairs group is looking for a Cell Therapy Coordinator in Madrid to support treatment centres and ensure a smooth experience throughout the CAR-T treatment journey. The role works closely with certified CAR-T treatment centres as the key operational contact for nurse coordinators and other partners, and collaborates with colleagues in cell therapy operations, supply chain, customer service and patient engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate operational activities related to patient treatment and cell logistics, from patient enrolment through collection, manufacturing, logistics and treatment.
• Act as the primary contact for nurse coordinators and other site stakeholders, monitoring patient and cell journey milestones and communicating updates proactively.
• Help resolve operational issues and support exceptions, rescheduling and cancellations when required.
• Provide training and support on order management systems and processes.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and share insights and best practices to improve the customer and patient experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a Master's degree in a scientific, healthcare or related field.
• Experience in a customer-facing healthcare environment, such as hospitals, clinical operations, patient coordination or healthcare services.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, able to manage multiple partners and priorities at once.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and IT platforms.
• Preferred: experience supporting transplant, haematology or oncology services, exposure to cell therapy or CAR-T therapies, and experience in supply chain, clinical research or healthcare operations.

• Base pay range of EUR 58,900 to EUR 94,760.
