Client Services Associate - Medical Writing

About the role

TransPerfect, a global leader in language services and technology, is looking for a Client Services Associate to serve as the first line of support to existing clients and manage and coordinate the completion of all language projects. The position is described as being based in the Lisbon office, although the listing title indicates Barcelona.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client requests for new project initiatives through the company's centralized technology.
• Collaborate with the production team to assess the scope of work and produce cost and timeline estimates for translation projects.
• Provide detailed budget, schedule and instructions to the project team and anticipate potential roadblocks, resolving them with the client before submission to production.
• Learn about clients' industries, business needs and company culture, educate the project team and provide a high level of service.
• Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure strict adherence to deadlines and budgets and deliver high-quality results.
• Act as the central contact and liaison between external clients and internal production staff, setting and fulfilling client expectations.
• Comply with ISO regulations, processes and procedures, investigate client complaints and troubleshoot problem projects.
• Complete other tasks assigned by a manager.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a commitment to a high level of service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience coordinating projects and assigning resources is a plus.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• MS Office skills.
• Fluency in a foreign language is desired.
