Cloud Engineering Intern - GCP, DevOps & Generative AI

About the role

Publicis Groupe is looking for a Cloud Engineering Intern interested in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps and Generative AI. You will join a technical team and, with ongoing guidance and support, help deploy, automate, monitor and support cloud solutions. The main focus is GCP, with additional exposure to Microsoft Azure; advanced experience or cloud architecture design knowledge is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure infrastructure, resources, applications and services in GCP.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Assist with the operation and monitoring of cloud infrastructure using logs, metrics and alerts.
• Identify, analyse and troubleshoot technical issues related to infrastructure, connectivity and applications.
• Support the deployment and integration of Generative AI services.
• Document infrastructure configurations, deployments and technical procedures.
• Gain exposure to equivalent services and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

Required profile

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong interest in a career in Cloud, DevOps and Generative AI.
• Strong learning ability, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, responsible and comfortable working in a team.
• Sufficient technical English to understand documentation and specialised resources.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).
• DevOps concepts and tools such as Git, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform and Bash or Python scripting.
• Basic knowledge of or interest in Kubernetes.
• Interest in GCP AI services (Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Builder, embeddings, vector search, RAG) and in Azure and multi-cloud environments.
• Nice to have: introductory certifications, academic or personal projects, or hands-on experience with the above.
