Cocinero/a – Hotel en Tenerife

About the role

We are looking for a motivated cook to join the kitchen team at a 4‑star hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The successful candidate will prepare dishes according to the hotel’s menu specifications and support the head chef in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes following the technical sheets of the set menu rotation.
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, reheating and restocking of food items.
• Receive and store food supplies according to established standards and orders.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and legal regulations in the workplace.

Required profile

• Higher‑level vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar kitchen position.
• Ability to work in a team, handle stress and solve unexpected issues.

Required skills

• Food safety knowledge (APPCC/HACCP).
