Cocinero/a – Jefe/a de Partida – Occidental Cádiz

About the role

Join the kitchen team of the Occidental Cadiz hotel as a Cook – Chef de Partie. You will be responsible for preparing dishes according to the technical sheets of the menu, supporting the Head Chef and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes following the established menu technical sheets.
• Ensure the kitchen runs efficiently under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management and purchasing.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies according to standards and orders.
• Carry out tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene and current legislation.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• APPCC (food safety) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity and ability to work under pressure.
• Problem‑solving skills and meticulous approach to tasks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of technical sheets and menu preparation.
• Basic cost control and inventory handling.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (APPCC).
