Cocinero/a para hotel en Santiago

About the role

We are looking for a motivated cook to join the kitchen team at our Barceló hotel in Santiago, Tenerife. You will work under the Head Chef, preparing dishes according to our menu specifications and contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes following the technical sheets of the established menu rotation.
• Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets the standards set by the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management, and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, food preservation, cooking, reheating, and restocking processes.
• Support receipt and storage of food items according to established procedures.
• Perform tasks in compliance with current safety and hygiene legislation.

Required profile

• Higher‑level culinary training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Cocina y Gastronomía) and HACCP (APPCC) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team, handle stress, solve unexpected issues, and maintain meticulous standards.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
