Commercial Data Consultant (MDM / Data Platforms)

About the role

A consulting firm that supports life sciences companies locally and globally on their commercial data, from master data and data platforms to customer engagement programmes, is hiring a Commercial Data Consultant. The consultant acts as the go-to expert for clients and project teams when data questions become difficult. Candidates come from either master data management (MDM) or data platforms, with real depth in one.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert on MDM or data platform pre-implementation or implementation projects for life sciences clients, depending on your background
• Tackle data challenges typical of customer engagement, such as HCP/HCO data quality and CRM master and reference data
• Combine third-party reference data (IQVIA, Veeva) with client data
• Work with architects, functional consultants and client stakeholders to turn requirements into working data solutions

Required profile

• Proven track record as a subject matter expert in MDM implementations (e.g. Informatica MDM, Reltio MDM) or data platform implementations (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica IDMC)
• Solid understanding of data management and its typical challenges in the customer engagement domain
• General understanding of CE processes within CRM, marketing automation, consent management, and event and engagement management
• Clear spoken and written communication and excellent English

Required skills

• Knowledge of the data models of at least one key data provider: IQVIA OneKey, IQVIA sales and prescription data, or Veeva OpenData
• Nice to have: deep knowledge of one or more CE processes, a certification in an MDM or data platform solution, GAMP 5 training or hands-on experience
