Construction Project Manager – EMEA Data Centers

About the role

As a Construction Project Manager for EMEA data centers, you will lead the delivery of new data center builds and capital projects, ensuring they meet Amazon’s high standards for safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors to drive the construction lifecycle from design through hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Own project scope, timeline, and budget for assigned data center sites.
• Manage the full construction process, including bidding, award, execution, and close‑out.
• Interface directly with general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations, evaluate bids, and ensure compliance with commercial and lease contracts.
• Oversee civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning disciplines.
• Prepare construction scopes, requests for proposals, and capital financial analyses.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects, preferably in data center or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, change orders, and procurement processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and drive results in a fast‑paced setting.
