Contract Administrative Assistant - Order Management

About the role

GE Vernova is looking for a Contract Administrative Assistant in Zamudio to keep its order-to-cash and project operations running smoothly. The role manages book and project orders across several product lines, creates internal purchase orders, coordinates and performs shipments, ensures accurate invoicing and drives timely collections.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with internal processes and coordinate across the group's plants so orders are delivered with minimal delay
• Proactively resolve incidents that arise during the order lifecycle
• Maintain accurate, timely information for all departments and plants
• Keep clear, professional communication with customers about the status of their orders
• Improve the efficiency of transportation planning and customs procedures
• Keep shipment records up to date until communication with each plant's shipping area is effective
• Oversee customer invoicing so invoices are issued accurately and on time
• Track outstanding payments and coordinate actions to complete collections within deadlines

Required profile

• Degree or training in Business Administration
• Fluent Spanish and English, spoken and written
• Ideally based in Zamudio, Bilbao or nearby

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP
• Understanding of logistics and customs processes
• Task prioritization, planning and teamwork
