R&D&I Project Manager (d/f/m)

About the role

AIMPLAS is hiring a Project Manager for its Project Management Department in Valencia on a permanent basis. The role covers end-to-end management of R&D&I projects, from client acquisition and proposal work to project closure and reporting. It reports to the Project Management Directorate and to the managers of national and international projects, and works within a team led by a coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and/or supervise R&D&I project proposals for public funding calls, and present projects to clients and funding bodies.
• Identify and acquire clients and partners, and take part in commercial campaigns promoting R&D&I funding instruments.
• Manage privately funded industrial projects and govern them during proposal and execution phases, ensuring commitments to clients and partners are met.
• Close projects and supervise technical and financial reporting, monitoring expenditures within the AIMPLAS ERP system.
• Identify exploitable R&D&I results and their transfer to companies.
• Comply with internal procedures related to UNE 166002 certification.

Required profile

• Previous experience managing R&D&I projects, preferably with experience of European Commission programmes (Framework Programmes, LIFE), Spanish state funding (CDTI and ministries) and Valencian regional funding (IVACE, AVI).
• An official or officially recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Strong Spanish and excellent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of the UNE 166002 standard.
• Preferred: experience across the full R&D&I project lifecycle, commercial skills including an annual company visit plan, leading large consortia, and knowledge of ERP systems such as Navision or Business Central.

Required skills

• Use of public funding management platforms (e.g. Funding & Tenders Portal, Facilita, CDTTI, IVACE, AVI) highly valued.
• Intermediate IT skills.
• Leadership, autonomy, proactivity, goal orientation and organisational skills.
