Cook (Cocinero/a) – Hamilton

About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a motivated Cook (Cocinero/a) to join the kitchen team at the Hamilton property in Es Castell, Mallorca. You will work under the Head Chef to ensure high‑quality food preparation and smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all dishes according to the technical sheets of the established menu rotation.
• Ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and meets the Head Chef’s standards.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of supplies following established procedures.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and legal regulations in daily tasks.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Cooking and Gastronomy.
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity, stress tolerance and meticulous work habits.

Required skills

• HACCP food‑safety knowledge.
