Cook (Cocinero/a) – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a motivated Cook to join the kitchen team at its La Nucía resort. You will work under the Head Chef, preparing dishes according to the established menu specifications and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes following the technical sheets of the rotating menu.
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations and report to the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management, and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration, and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies according to established standards.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene, and legal regulations.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen position.
• Team‑player attitude with creativity, stress tolerance, and problem‑solving ability.
• Attention to detail and meticulous work habits.
