Cook – Punta Umbría Beach Resort

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook to join the kitchen team at Barceló Punta Umbría Beach Resort. You will work under the Head Chef, preparing dishes according to our menu specifications and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes based on technical sheets of the established menu rotation.
• Maintain smooth kitchen operations and support the Head Chef in daily tasks.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management, and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration, and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Perform duties in compliance with current safety and hygiene legislation.

Required profile

• Higher Level Training Cycle in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement; Spanish is sufficient.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity, stress tolerance, problem‑solving ability, and meticulous work habits.
