Cost & Budget Analysis & Control Analyst I

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking a Cost & Budget Analysis & Control Analyst I to join its Boadilla del Monte office. You will perform cost analysis, allocations and propose process improvements to keep the business cost situation under control.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cost management, estimation and budgeting activities.
• Prepare cost reports and ensure a global vision across units and countries.
• Conduct financial analysis, data collection, reporting and budget monitoring.
• Determine cost calculations by product and country.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in business finance, internal audit, cost management, management control or accounting.
• University degree; postgraduate or master’s specialization is valued.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of Python or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot for task automation.
