Senior Vice President – Trade Receivables Securitisation

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead the structuring and execution of trade receivables securitisation transactions worldwide. Based in Boadilla (Madrid), you will join a global team that drives innovative financing solutions for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and coordinate trade receivables transactions across multiple countries.
• Structure and execute securitisation deals using diverse mechanisms to mitigate portfolio risk.
• Manage approval processes with risk departments and negotiate legal documentation with stakeholders, brokers and insurers.
• Syndicate trade finance assets to buy‑side investors and develop new product offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in trade receivables portfolio analysis and securitisation, preferably from an investment banking background.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance products (payables, ECA, documentary trade, inventory) and EU banking regulations.
• Proactive business origination skills and high motivation to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Trade receivables products, IFRS/US GAAP accounting standards, and insurance market knowledge.
• Expertise in receivable securitisation techniques, S&P methodologies, and credit risk evaluation.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling, including cash‑flow modelling and data analysis.
