Cost Clarity Senior Analyst

About the role

CHEP's Cost Clarity Senior Analyst plays a key role in advancing the Cost Clarity program across Europe. The role improves commercial decision-making by deepening customer profitability insights, embedding cost transparency in commercial finance processes and delivering scalable solutions across 27 countries. It combines financial modelling, advanced analytics and business partnering to support pricing decisions, customer segmentation and profitability, and to support CHEP's European growth strategy. The position is hybrid remote.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the deployment and adoption of Cost Clarity capabilities across European markets, meeting programme timelines and standardising methodologies across countries.
• Analyse complex datasets, build and maintain customer segmentation models, identify trends and profitability opportunities, and produce financial analysis for commercial decisions.
• Partner with Central Finance to embed Cost Clarity in existing commercial finance tools, and work with Commercial, Supply Chain, Digital and Retail teams to improve cost visibility.
• Own segmented cost allocation KPIs, monitor data quality and model performance, and recommend improvements to methodologies and reporting.
• Act as subject matter expert, support training and knowledge sharing, and promote financial modelling best practices.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects such as pricing strategies, cost savings initiatives and performance tracking.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in finance, commercial finance or business analytics.
• Experience in multinational organisations and supporting commercial decisions through financial analysis.
• Experience managing complex financial models and large datasets.
• English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Financial modelling.
• Desirable: advanced Power BI, cost allocation methodologies and data visualisation.
