Crew Scheduling Officer

About the role

The Crew Scheduling Officer is responsible for planning and managing the monthly roster of flight and cabin crew for LEVEL, ensuring efficient deployment while complying with the airline's OM‑A 7 procedures and relevant aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly crew roster in line with deadlines set by the Head of Crew Operations.
• Apply OM‑A 7 and applicable FTL regulations, monitoring accumulated fatigue.
• Guarantee an equitable distribution of flight hours, days off and vacation periods.
• Maintain the Crew Scheduling System, including training expiry dates for all crew members.
• Ensure sufficient qualified crew are available at airports and on operational routes.
• Organise hotel accommodation and crew positioning when required.
• Propose cost‑effective deployment improvements to add value to the service.
• Manage crew swaps, changes, requests and disruptions efficiently without compromising safety.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of airline crew scheduling procedures, OM‑A 7 and relevant aviation legislation.
• Ability to monitor and mitigate crew fatigue.
• Excellent organisational skills to balance flight hours, rest periods and vacations.
• Experience maintaining crew scheduling databases and tracking training compliance.
• Proactive attitude towards process improvement and cost optimisation.
