Customer Operations Specialist (German Speaker)

About the role

HP is looking for a Customer Operations Specialist in Sant Cugat del Valles who speaks German. The specialist works in a central order management team within a European, multicultural and fast-moving business environment, supporting customers and the sales force on order fulfillment. The role is full time, with no shift premium.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the customer and partner backlog so orders are delivered within agreed SLAs, reviewing backlog tools daily and bringing delayed orders back into contractual SLAs
• Provide backlog analysis and summary reports to customers and account teams when requested
• Handle claims, exceptions, special requests and change requests in line with agreed procedures
• Ensure orders are invoiced and closed in the systems, minimize field inventory and keep financial disputes low
• Act as the single point of contact for customers on orders and claims, giving timely feedback and advising on the order management cycle and acceptance policy
• Coordinate with the country team, Order Fulfillment, Logistics, Credit & Collection and other sales operations functions
• Keep processes accurate and compliant with HP's internal policies, and meet agreed deadlines

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Experience in customer interaction and working with multiple countries or sub-regions at a high level of complexity
• Fluency in English and German
• Customer-oriented, flexible, adaptable, with strong analytical skills and ability to multitask under pressure

Required skills

• Medium to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to meet deadlines and orient towards continuous improvement
