Cyber Security Lead / Manager

About the role

Sulzer is looking for a Cyber Security Lead/Manager to lead its global technical cybersecurity function and protect the company's business and technology transformation. This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced cybersecurity professional who will drive security architecture, engineering and secure-by-design practices across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure, operational technology (OT) and digital products, working closely with senior business leaders, Enterprise Architecture and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the cybersecurity architecture and engineering roadmap, and lead the global technical cybersecurity function.
• Promote secure-by-design principles across applications, infrastructure, cloud, OT and digital products, and define security requirements across identity, infrastructure, network, cloud, application, OT and digital product environments.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, technology domains, development teams and product owners to embed security into technology initiatives.
• Establish and govern security standards, architecture principles and technology direction, and lead security reviews and risk-based design decisions.
• Advise the CISO and senior leadership on cybersecurity strategy, architecture and technology risks, and evaluate emerging technologies for secure adoption.
• Oversee implementation and lifecycle management of security technologies and platforms, and drive automation, standardization and risk reduction.
• Manage cybersecurity priorities and projects, support investment decisions, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering or related fields, including proven implementation of enterprise security capabilities.
• Leadership experience in global and complex business environments, with strong stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Fluent English; preferred: postgraduate qualification and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, Azure Security or Google Cloud Security.
