D2P Data & Analytics Technical Product Owner - RDT ERP

About the role

Roche is looking for a D2P Data & Analytics Technical Product Owner for its RDT ERP area in Madrid. The role partners with the Product Manager to drive Data, Analytics and AI solutions across the Demand-to-Pay (D2P) domain, combining product ownership, business analysis, techno-functional oversight, delivery and vendor management, and service management. It sits within the D2P Data & Analytics area, which covers end-to-end Procurement, Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense Management strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product strategy and business needs into a roadmap, backlog, requirements and delivery priorities.
• Act as the day-to-day bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners.
• Bring strong functional knowledge of Procurement and Accounts Payable processes.
• Work with architects, data engineers and data scientists to shape scalable Data & AI solutions.
• Provide techno-functional oversight of Snowflake, Talend, data integration, analytics, GenAI and AI-enabled workflows, reviewing designs, estimates and proposals.
• Manage external delivery partners and vendors, and ensure services meet Roche SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies, incidents, technical debt and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members and delivery partners to strengthen Data, Analytics and AI capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data & Analytics or similar techno-functional roles.
• Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable processes.
• Experience delivering Data, Analytics or AI solutions in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience working with external delivery partners or vendors.

Required skills

• SAP BW and ERP/S4, with a solid understanding of P2P processes such as procurement, supplier management, purchasing, invoicing and payments.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL and API-based data integration.
• Awareness of GenAI, RAG, semantic search and AI agents.
• Ability to turn business needs into requirements, user stories and delivery priorities.
• Stakeholder management, SLA/KPI management and mentoring.
