Data Analyst Intern

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Data Analyst Intern in Barcelona. The intern sits at the intersection of data analytics and growth, helping to understand where the best couriers come from by analysing the full funnel of acquisition sources such as Paid Ads, Referral programs and Organic traffic. The role also includes hands-on experience managing creative assets and campaigns on major ad platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Holistic funnel analysis: compare the performance of Paid Social, Search, SEO and Referrals to find the highest-quality couriers at the best cost across more than 20 countries.
• Referral and growth analysis: track referral volumes, analyse fraud and quality patterns, and suggest improvements to referral incentives.
• Performance marketing operations: help upload creatives, set up campaigns and manage assets on Meta, Google Ads and TikTok.
• Tech and automation: use SQL and Python to query databases and automate reports on lead-generation performance.
• Creative optimization: monitor video and static assets and give feedback to the design team on what drives conversions.
• Dashboards and visibility: build visualization tools (spreadsheets/Looker) to show the region the full acquisition funnel, from first click or referral invite to first order.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Business or a technological field (including tech bootcamps).
• Comfortable with numbers and logic, and able to handle large datasets.
• Strong curiosity to learn SQL and Python, and interest in both performance marketing and organic growth.
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication in English.
