Data Analyst Intern

About the role

HP is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join the Delivery Cost & Operations team in its Customer Support organization, which serves PPS customers across EMEA through a network of outsourced partners. The internship is designed as a versatile analyst profile covering automation (including AI), operational performance and financial analysis, within an international team. Candidates must be currently enrolled at a Spanish university, stay enrolled until the end of the internship, be able to sign an internship agreement with their university, and be available to start in October 2026 for 5 to 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain data analysis frameworks, models and dashboards (Power BI, Excel) to support decisions across EMEA operations.
• Develop and scale data automation solutions and pipelines, turning manual processes into efficient workflows with SQL, Python and AI-driven tools.
• Manage and optimize data structures and datasets, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Analyze operational and financial performance (KPIs, costs, efficiency metrics) and turn data into actionable insights.
• Enhance reporting and scorecards so performance can be tracked automatically and used in business reviews.
• Contribute to process improvement and transformation, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on data-driven solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong foundation in data engineering and analytics, including data modeling and analytical methods.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python or R for data manipulation, analysis or automation.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, in an international environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) and ability to build dashboards.
• Basic understanding of data pipelines and big data concepts is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); strong Excel skills are an advantage.
