Data Engineer – Build AI‑Native Data Platform

About the role

Bynder is looking for a Data Engineer to help shape its AI‑native data platform. You will work closely with analysts, scientists, and engineers to deliver robust data pipelines and self‑serve tools that power product improvements and customer insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of our data architecture by applying Data Mesh principles.
• Develop, scale, maintain and deploy cloud‑based data platform infrastructure.
• Implement data lineage and governance across the organisation.
• Support the Product & Engineering teams with their data needs.
• Build custom ETL pipelines, detect anomalies and create optimized aggregations for dashboards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑native development and designing data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Data Mesh, data governance and data lineage best practices.
• Experience building large‑scale data flows using Spark and Kafka.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena and EMR.
• Familiarity with Airflow for orchestration and Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.
• Ability to use Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Collaborative mindset working with cross‑functional engineers, data scientists and DevOps.
