Data Scientist

About the role

Gategroup is looking for a motivated Data Scientist to work in its Madrid corporate office. The role involves analysing large datasets, building predictive models and turning data insights into solutions that improve customers' journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and correlations using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Develop, implement and optimise predictive models and algorithms to address business challenges.
• Clean, preprocess and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis.
• Work with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
• Create clear data visualisations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Present findings through reports, dashboards and presentations to senior leadership.
• Stay up to date with developments in data science, machine learning and AI.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data science.
• Experience building predictive models and working with large datasets is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
