Data Scientist – SEM & Predictive Algorithms

About the role

Gauss & Neumann is seeking a Data Scientist to design and implement advanced search engine marketing (SEM) solutions for international clients. You will work on keyword structures, real‑time bidding algorithms, and data visualisation tools, either from our Barcelona or Andorra offices or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design SEM keyword structures for global clients.
• Develop predictive algorithms for real‑time bidding.
• Create scripts to optimise keyword performance.
• Build data‑driven technologies that disrupt the SEM industry.
• Conduct data research, visualisation, and daily campaign management for large US‑based accounts.

Required profile

• PhD, MSc or Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, initiative and self‑discipline.
• Enjoy collaborative work environments and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Programming in Python, SQL, PHP and R.
• Solid knowledge of statistics.
