Deal Desk Analyst

About the role

Elastic, the Search AI company, is hiring a Deal Desk Analyst in Barcelona. The role supports the sales team by streamlining processes and structuring deals effectively, working closely with cross-functional teams. It sits within the EMEA geographic Deal Desk framework and supports the super-geo manager.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to Sales and Finance on complex deals, focusing on financial and revenue compliance
• Manage approvals for non-standard deals and coordinate cross-departmental approvals outside the standard workflow
• Advise sales executives on pricing, product configuration and business terms
• Assess financial and revenue risk on non-standard deals and propose custom terms and legal edits in order forms and contracts
• Help the field assess the deal cycle and negotiate, and collaborate on commercial models
• Maintain a repository of legal language templates for non-standard deals and enforce revenue recognition policies
• Support RFP/RFI and vendor questionnaires, and build CRM workflows and alerting for non-standard orders
• Build financial and legal requirements for changes to and launches of new offerings, and improve Deal Desk processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Channel Operations, Deal Desk, Contract Administration or related areas
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Experience in a SaaS or high-tech company is a plus

Required skills

• High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and GSuite
• Salesforce.com (CPQ a plus)
• Affinity with AI
