Delivery Management Professional - Delivery Service Manager

About the role

The Delivery Management Professional leads moderately complex deliveries, proactively identifies improvements, manages diverse stakeholders and contributes to strategic implementation. You will independently define and control the scope of medium to large initiatives, using facilitation and analytical skills to drive value delivery. Depending on organizational needs, the role fits archetypes such as Project Manager, Service (Delivery) Manager, ITSM Process SME, Scrum Master, RTE or Agile Coach.

Key responsibilities

• Independently define, manage and control the scope of medium to large initiatives or significant workstreams, leading the scope definition process and managing scope changes and risks
• Analyze moderate to complex delivery problems, run root cause analysis, and lead improvement plans and solution design and validation
• Identify stakeholders across functions, create communication plans and act as a trusted advisor, resolving conflicts to keep stakeholders aligned
• Manage moderately complex initiatives or workstreams, including complex features, services or projects such as service transitions, product releases or ART increments, selecting and tailoring delivery methodologies
• Translate business needs into delivery strategies, use advanced delivery tools and techniques, and contribute to planning and strategic objectives for Informatics, the Chapter and/or Domains

Required profile

• Proven track record in a Delivery Management archetype (Project Manager, Service Manager, Scrum Master, RTE, Agile Coach) managing medium to large initiatives
• Experience delivering complex features or projects across functional areas
• Experience turning requirements into strategic implementation plans and contributing to business planning and forecasting
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including facilitating workshops and resolving conflicts
• Coaching and mentoring mindset, able to build team spirit and connect team development with business objectives
