Deployment Specialist - Temporal

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for a Deployment Specialist (temporary, fixed-term) in its Canary Islands locations. The role protects the business by keeping fresh products available to maximise revenue and by avoiding aging products to minimise obsoletes. It manages stock transfers from Viana to the central warehouse in coordination with logistics teams, while collaborating closely with commercial teams and the demand and supply network.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Customer Service target of 98.5% service, minimising clearance and write-offs.
• Manage supply continuity by analysing stock coverage per product to support sales and manage scarcity.
• Discuss service impact mitigation actions with Sales and Customer Service.
• Analyse stock freshness indicators to ensure the required shelf life is available for customers.
• Influence cross-functional teams to optimise sales with available production.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and tools, including the service management dashboard, and develop new requirements and automate flows.
• Work with demand planning, warehouse management and transportation teams to gather insights and align improvements.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc KPI reports with strong data quality and automation.

Required profile

• 2-3 years' experience in demand / supply planning.
• Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods or food environment where shelf life is a constraint.
• Experience within a demand and supply environment.
• Fluent English and Spanish; Portuguese is a nice-to-have.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, prioritise work and work in a team.

Required skills

• PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Tableau and data visualisation tools.
• ERP systems (SAP, APO).
• Excel proficiency.
• Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics KPIs.
