Developer

About the role

South Europe Technologies (SET Iberia), the shared service centre for BNP Paribas Personal Finance in Spain and Portugal, is looking for a Developer to join its application management team. You will work on coding, testing and documenting software solutions that support banking and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using PowerBuilder, PL/SQL and related technologies.
• Write unit tests and support functional testing.
• Resolve production incidents and ensure smooth operation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Collaborate proactively with Functional Analysts and Technical Leads.

Required profile

• Knowledge of banking processes and business logic is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and result orientation.
• Effective communication in English (minimum B1 level).
• Team‑oriented, client‑focused and proactive problem‑solver.

Required skills

• PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher
• PL/SQL (Oracle 11g or higher) and SQL Developer
• Version control with GIT
• ServiceNow, Confluence and Microsoft Teams
• Familiarity with testing tools such as UFT and UML modelling (nice to have)
• Interest in AI applied to software development (nice to have)
