DevOps Engineer – Automated Testing for Aviation Platform

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design and implement an automated testing framework for a mission‑critical aviation digital platform built on a cloud‑native AWS architecture. The role offers high autonomy, close collaboration with a Senior Architect, and the chance to influence testing strategy across micro‑services and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a scalable automated testing framework using Python.
• Analyse existing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git‑based) to embed testing stages.
• Define validation approaches for APIs, services and workflows across environments.
• Integrate testing solutions with the cloud‑native AWS architecture and ensure DevSecOps compliance.
• Evaluate, adapt or extend existing tools to create a unified testing strategy.
• Document architecture decisions, framework usage and best practices.
• Troubleshoot system‑level issues within the application and testing ecosystem.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or comparable technical role.
• Strong software engineering mindset with a focus on testing automation.
• Experience working in Agile, complex engineering environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
