DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join SGS’s IT team supporting the bluesign technology platform. The role bridges software development and operations, focusing on automation, reliable releases, and secure cloud‑based services for internal users and bluesign customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Manage and optimise containerised environments and support cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, proactively resolving issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to increase deployment frequency and improve system stability.
• Integrate security best practices into development and deployment processes (DevSecOps).
• Contribute to standards, documentation and best‑practice definition across development and operations.
• Perform troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis across applications, infrastructure and environments.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Solid knowledge of containerisation technologies.
