Digital Business Expert - ATM's

About the role

ING is looking for a Digital Business Expert to join its Pay with Cash Squad within the Daily Banking & Savings Tribe in Madrid. The role shapes ING's ATM strategy so that customers' cash needs are met with an excellent customer experience and strict cost efficiency. It sits at the intersection of business strategy, customer insights, partner management and data-driven decisions, in an agile environment with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex initiatives and projects with internal and external stakeholders, facing challenging objectives and tight deadlines.
• Analyse customer behaviour and consumption trends related to cash and ATMs, identifying patterns, opportunities and risks across networks.
• Build and maintain business cases, assessing financial impact, customer value and strategic alignment.
• Monitor financial drivers and propose corrective or optimisation actions for the Dynamic Plan.
• Contribute to business and network strategy, ensuring optimal ATM coverage and location.
• Design and drive customer communication strategies with Marketing and Customer Interaction teams.
• Own and develop relationships with external partners, including governance, performance monitoring and day-to-day collaboration.
• Manage operational and financial risk in line with internal policies and regulations, and turn Voice of the Customer insights into improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and stakeholder management, ideally in complex environments.
• Ability to build and defend business cases combining financial analysis with strategic and customer perspectives.
• Experience analysing customer trends, behaviours and usage patterns, and in similar roles managing products such as ATMs, cards and cash-related services.
• Excellent English and Spanish, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
• Adaptability, attention to detail and a holistic, strategic view of the business.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, Power BI and/or MicroStrategy.
• Strong analytical skills.
