District Manager – Spain (South)

About the role

VF is seeking a District Manager to lead a portfolio of stores across Madrid, Andalucía and Portugal. Based in Madrid, you will be the primary link between store teams and corporate headquarters, driving commercial performance, operational excellence and an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Store Managers to achieve sales, profitability and KPI targets across the district.
• Analyse performance data, identify risks and opportunities, and implement action plans.
• Conduct structured store visits focused on coaching, performance assessment and execution quality.
• Oversee visual merchandising, in‑store marketing, inventory accuracy and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, labor law, security and audit standards.
• Support store openings, remodels and new retail initiatives.
• Champion world‑class customer experience and brand expression.
• Recruit, onboard and develop Store Managers and future leaders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple retail stores or a large district.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across the district.
